Hello friend! We are Becky and Noah Hurley, sharing our entrepreneurial journey to inspire you in your endeavors and teach you about a unique passive income strategy. Wow \u2013 it has been 10 years since we got started in flipping houses, building custom homes, developing land and investing in real estate, and Noah and I are coming up on our 10-year wedding anniversary as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Noah had actually been in business for himself long before we met (and that\u2019s actually HOW we met \u2013 full story on the podcast!), and the two of us went into business together before tying the knot. We started out fixing and flipping homes together. Working with your husband is no joke \u2013 well, sometimes with Noah it is, because he\u2019s hilarious \u2013 but we truly do have a strong partnership and working dynamic as husband and wife, and that\u2019s been really important for our success! My background is in teaching \u2013 bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degree plus a few years of classroom experience. When Noah and I got married, I was working a \u201cnormal\u201d job \u2013 and I LOVED it! Then, it was Noah who first pulled me into the world of entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I started getting serious about entrepreneurship on my own, a friend recommended the book, \u201cRich Dad, Poor Dad,\u201d by Robert Kiyosaki<\/a>. Noah and I read three of his books together on a long road trip to Florida just 10 months into our relationship. These books opened my eyes to the world of real estate investing and building wealth so you can begin to ENJOY life at a much younger age than most people think of retiring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This set us on a journey! We started taking classes all over the country in real estate, investing, entrepreneurship\u2026 we were READY to learn as much as we could (or maybe I was and dragged Noah along with me!), and we were learning things they don\u2019t teach you in a 4-year bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree program. One of Kiyosaki\u2019s books that really got us thinking was \u201cRich Dad\u2019s Four Cashflow Quadrants.\u201d<\/a> I highly recommend giving it a read for a deep dive into the advantages and disadvantages of each of four quadrants:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
